The afternoon light floods the small room, doing nothing to hide the absolute absurdity of Frankie's predicament. She sits center stage on a black chair, her chest bare and heaving with indignation, while her wrists and ankles are securely fastened to the legs with tight black bindings. Her mouth is plugged effectively by a large red ball gag, reducing her scolding attempts to muffled, angry noises that only seem to fuel the situation's comedy.

Enter Candie, dressed casually in a blue blouse and patterned skirt, who clearly expected a normal hangout, not... this. Instead of rushing to untie the knots, she pauses, her hands on her hips, and bursts into uncontrollable laughter at the sight of her best friend displayed like a piece of modern art. Wiping a tear from her eye, she finally steps forward, not to free Frankie’s hands, but just to unbuckle the strap behind her head and pop the red ball from her lips.

"He... we were just experimenting!" Frankie splutters immediately, her face flushing darker. "He said he'd be right back, it’s been an hour! Just cut me loose!"

Candie’s laughter only redoubles at the pathetic explanation. "Experimenting? Honey, you look like a Thanksgiving turkey!"

"Shut up, Candie! Just get me out of this!" Frankie snaps, rattling her bound wrists against the chair legs.

Candie stops laughing abruptly. The amusement in her eyes shifts to something cooler, more mischievous. She looks down at Frankie—exposed, trapped, and utterly dependent on her whim. "Shut up?" Candie repeats softly, dangling the drool-slicked ball gag right in front of Frankie’s face. "You know, for someone who can't move a muscle, you're making a lot of demands. Maybe the boyfriend had the right idea keeping you quiet..." She leans in, the gag hovering dangerously close to Frankie's open mouth again. "Say 'please', or this goes right back in."
