It was the first day of term, and College Prefect Tibby was on a mission. Dressed immaculately in her black sweater and red tartan skirt, she marched into the dorm room to collect the new girl, Fiona. She was keen for Fiona to meet the clique and start the year right. But Fiona, sprawled on the bed in her grey uniform sweater and short black skirt, was feeling rebellious. She flatly refused to move, telling Tibby she just "didn't feel like" going in today.

Tibby was taken aback by the insolence, but she quickly recovered. If Fiona wanted to play the truant, she would have to pay the price. "If you aren't going to college," Tibby sneered, "I'll give you a real reason to stay in bed."

The argument turned physical in a heartbeat. Tibby launched herself onto the bed, pinning the struggling new girl against the pink satin sheets. Fiona fought back, kicking her legs in the air, but the Prefect's determination was absolute. Tibby produced a roll of wide, bright red tape. She wrestled Fiona’s arms behind her back, winding the red tape tightly around her wrists until they were fused together.

Tibby then moved to the ankles, ignoring Fiona's protests as she bound her legs together with the same crimson adhesive. But the lesson wasn't over. Tibby hauled on the bindings, connecting Fiona's ankles to her wrists, forcing her into a helpless, arched hogtie. To ensure the dorm remained quiet while everyone else was in class, Tibby tied a thick black cloth gag securely around Fiona's mouth. Tibby stood up, straightened her tartan skirt, and looked down at her handiwork. Fiona was now officially excused from class, bound and gagged on her bed, learning a very hard lesson about respecting the Prefect's authority.
