Ah, back in the day, being taught how to wear a bra, and how to jill like a lady. And the lovely subtlety of pausing to lift the dress over the bra. And I’m still a UK dress size 14, though I have become a bra size 38B instead of a 36B, which is not bad. Never took to hold-up stockings - the rubbery grip was too tight.
The lady who helped me told me that she herself never wore a bra, just bikini swimwear tops when she had to! But she would help me to learn how to wear a bra as it was a very positive goal to have bought one to seek that level of femininity. It was a black bra rather like Honour’s and the set is so evocative.
