Finally, she sat back down and picked up the last trembling man. He wasn't a problem anymore; he was an opportunity. Her stomach rumbled. With a shrug and a cruel smile, she lifted the tiny man to her mouth, popped him onto her tongue, and swallowed him whole. A perfect, crunchy end to a hard day's work.
