Holiday Request: Denied

The meeting in the executive office was short, sharp, and brutal. Charley Atwell, the brunette boss, sat behind her desk with a sneer of absolute authority, delivering the bad news to her blonde filing clerk, Louise Jones. There would be no holidays this year. But Charley didn't stop at crushing Louise's plans; she decided to crush her spirit, too. She leaned forward, dripping with disdain, and told Louise she was far too lazy to deserve a break, capping the insult by sneering that Louise "dressed cheaply" and lowered the tone of the office.

That was the spark that burned the office down. Louise didn't file a complaint; she filed a fist. The insult to her wardrobe was the final straw. She lunged across the desk, grabbing the boss by her "expensive" blouse, and the brawl was on. The office transformed instantly into an arena of shredding fabric and flying limbs.

If Charley thought Louise's clothes were cheap, she certainly helped remove them quickly enough. In the heat of the struggle, professional attire was ripped apart. Blouses were torn open, buttons pinging off the walls like bullets. Skirts were yanked and discarded as the two women wrestled furiously on the floor. Louise fought with the rage of the oppressed, tearing at Charley’s clothes to prove that the boss looked just the same as the clerk when stripped down to her lingerie. They rolled across the carpet, a tangle of stockings and torn silk, turning a performance review into a raw, half-naked battle for dignity where the only thing being filed was a very physical grievance.
