Vintage Days of the Week acetate panties

Anybody here remember when ladies used to wear those Days of the Week panties?

I remember seeing these panties hanging up to dry in my neighbors back yard when I was a kid and how my heart felt like it was going to explode when I snuck over the fence and snagged the pink Wednesday pair, shoved them down my pants and ran home to investigate my new found treasure.
They must have been worn a lot because the acetate material becomes extremely soft after multiple washings and these were like butter in my hands, and as a bonus there was a nice fragrant stain right at the top of the double acetate crotch panel. I was too nervous to ever go back and take another pair, but I did see her occasionaly as I was walking home from school and always wondered what she was wearing every Wednesday:)

Remember two of my college crushes wore these panties in hip hugger fashion. I actually got to fondle some on one of them. The other one was a cutety too. Should of grabbed a pair when I got the chance. Tuesday would of been the day i got.

Coincidentally, I have a set of vintage, never worn, day of the week panties that I was about to put up for sale on Ebay. I bought them there a while ago for the Mrs. but she never wore them because she put on a few pounds (ahem). They are acetate size 7s. I ended up custom ordering her a set of size 8s from some company and now she wears those regularly!
