The Educating of Edward: A Short Story

This is great. It's like outtakes of "The Graduate" that we weren't allowed to see.

It's a superbly crafted story which holds up to repeated reading. It contains lots of elements and phrasing which are really enjoyable. The pacing and direction gradually build up to the final sex scene and a "kind of" happy ending. Miss Braun is a perfect dramatic creation, aware of her power and able to use it to instruct but not take over. Her sadness from earlier on in her life has left her wounded, but strengthened. Here, she has used her power knowingly but with compassion to help Edward, and also get some great sex for herself. Women's needs are as complex as men's.

We have a good description of how a woman can use a dominant role to enable men to get over the barrier of accusations of perversion, or sexual harassment, and enjoy what they want without conforming to stereotype images of sissification or degradation. Edward is a man who likes panties, and so am I. I got a lot out of the story, and will read it many times to enjoy those accurate turns of phrase. I hope others will enjoy it too.
