Just curious about something thats nibbled in the back of my mind but I haven't had the nerve to do anything about it: has anyone ever noticed how relatively unprotected baggage is at airports (at least in US). This is especially true for the baggage that gets set aside from delayed passengers. All of them have name tags, so one could tell which might contain panties just waiting for their rightful owners to claim them. Sometimes you can even tell which bags have the "college girl" look to them (school names, etc.). I certainly wouldn't take a bag (that would be mean) but I think it would realtively easy to borrow it, maybe duck into a nearby bathroom stall and explore for finds, then simply put it back. Of course, I don't know how carefully anyone's watching them, but I know I've gotten my own bags plenty of times and no one's said a word when I walked away with them. Thoughts?

For God's sake, DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT! Aitports have the tightest and best video security anywhere and YOU WILL GO TO JAIL! Just enjoy the VPL and go home and jack off.

I H a v e n o i d e a w h a t y o u a r e talking a b ou t......

This is crazy, don't do it, returning the bag is going to be much harder than lifting it.. "many bags do look alike though" however, if you get busted, you would need to retrieve 'your bag' the one you though you had, and it will most likely not look like the one you just tried to borrow. Hard to explain the mixup..

the worst thing is, if you get caught, you are potentially stealing a large value item. For instance, the value of the bag, and all contents inside can easily be worth enough to make it a real crime. Each shirt, pants, makeup, etc, well beyond petty theft.

I'm sticking by my idea of not doing it..

i have had this same thought, nobody ever is watching, i never thought about airport video survaliance, but when i was stuck waiting for a person to pick me up ounce, i did notice all the bags just sitting there, i wanted to try but chickened out at the thought of no real get away plan. let me know if you try it and get away with it.
