I've always used the sink in similar circumstances, it's at a better height and I can rinse the sink afterwards.

UPDATE:
I'm heading home today but not without doing a little more snooping. I decided to look in another drawer and found boring (in my opinion) cotton every day panties.

Digging way in the back produced a VS nylon and lace pair

and this pair

A no name nylon and spandex blend. Out of all of them, this is the pair I'd take. Yeah, I'm boring, I know. Very Happy But you gotta get what you like, right?
